UPPER FORK BRACKET BOLT SOCKET TOOL FORK CAP ALLEN SOCKET Save time and effort when removing the top fork tube bolts with this low profile Upper Fork Bolt Socket Tool. Utilizing a 3/8” drive ratchet or a 1” wrench, this tool works in close tolerances, so that the handlebars will not have to be removed. The socket is also rubber protected, so it does not damage the heads of chrome fork tube bolts. To further protect the corners of the bolt, the tool is designed to put all the force at the flats of the hex top and not the corners. Fits 35mm hex top fork tube bolts on all Big Twins with Wide Glide forks, FXR 1987/1999 and Sportsters 1988/Later. Harley-Davidson® recently updated the fork cap on touring bikes, and you now need a large Allen head socket for disassembly. There’s a good chance you don’t have this size in your tool box, but there’s no need to go buy an expensive kit just for one socket.
