Designed to outperform the standard halogen bulb by producing a light closer to true daylight. The special blue coating provides a trace of blue light at the headlight's periphery for a totally custom look. This product fully conforms to all DOT regulations as well as all ECE (European) R37 regulations. By coming closer to a daylight color, these bulbs allow the brain to actually process more of the information the eye receives from the road. The color of the light matches the sweet spot of the eye, and thus more information is transmitted to the light processing area of the brain. The brain sees a broader patch of light directly in front of the bike, but as distance in front of the bike is increased, the XB³ keeps the light on the rider's side of the road, reducing glare to oncoming traffic. This H4 style double contact Headlight Bulb can be used as an OE replacement or on all headlights that require a replacement bulb with a P43T base.
