All wording used in our catalog denoting Harley-Davidson® part numbers, and/or other model names of Harley-Davidson® motorcycles, are intended for use only as references. MID-USA MOTORCYCLE PARTS is not an authorized Harley-Davidson® dealer and in no way do we have, or intend to imply, any type of business relationship with the Harley-Davidson Motor Company. Our intention is to provide products that can be used on Harley-Davidson® motorcycles as well as American made motorcycles. MID-USA MOTORCYCLE PARTS sells only to licensed, established, commercial places of business serving the general public in the areas of motorcycle sales, service and/or parts and accessories. TERMS OF BUSINESS
The prices in our price list are suggested list F.O.B. Hazelwood, Missouri at the time the price list was produced. The prices in effect at the time of the order will prevail, regardless of what is printed herein. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CHANGE PRICES AND/OR DISCOUNTS WITHOUT NOTICE, AND TO BILL AT THE PREVAILING PRICES AT THE TIME OF SHIPMENT. ALWAYS CHECK YOUR INVOICE FOR PRICE
CHANGES. We regret any inconvenience, and will quote current prices to telephone inquiries whenever requested, or you can check pricing on our Dealer Website. PAYMENT TERMS All initial orders will be shipped C.O.D. Certified Check or Money Order, Payment in Advance by Certified Check, or Credit Card. Dealers desiring C.O.D. Company Check status should indicate on the Dealer Application the terms that they are requesting. Allow 5 business days after receipt of the completed application for approval. A Sales Representative will advise you of MID-USA MOTORCYCLE PARTS’ decision. C.O.D. CERTIFIED
CHECK/MONEY ORDER OR C.O.D. COMPANY CHECK
To expedite shipments of large orders shipped C.O.D. Certified Check/Money Order or C.O.D. Company Check, orders will be divided into two or more boxes. The total C.O.D. charges will be evenly divided between the boxes. All boxes will be shipped from the MID-USA warehouse on the same day, but may not be delivered on the same day. (Example: Although the value of parts in Box 1 totals $100.00 and the value of parts in Box 2 totals $150.00, each of these cartons will be C.O.D. tagged at $125.00 each, plus the freight, C.O.D., and insurance charges for each box.) C.O.D. COMPANY CHECK – ONE C.O.D. - For those customers on C.O.D. Company Check with no record of returned shipments, we offer “One C.O.D. Tag Service.” One C.O.D. tag covering the total invoice amount will be issued, regardless of number of packages. This results in a considerable savings in C.O.D., because each C.O.D. tag has a C.O.D. charge. If you are on One C.O.D. Tag Service, and refuse a shipment for any reason, your terms will be changed to C.O.D. Company Check. We regret that One C.O.D. Tag Service is not available for dealers on C.O.D. Certified Check/Money Order.
MID-USA MOTORCYCLE PARTS accepts MasterCard, Visa, Discover/Novus, and American Express. For our dealers’ protection, MID-USA MOTORCYCLE PARTS requires a signed completed Credit Card Consent Form and picture I.D. for each credit card you may use as payment for your orders. This is for your protection. If your credit card is declined for any reason, you will need to call your issuing bank and/or give us an alternate method of payment.
OPEN ACCOUNT TERMS
Standard Open Account Terms are Net 30 Days from Date of Invoice. No discount may be taken for early payment. Open Account Terms are forfeited if an invoice goes past due, and terms will be changed to C.O.D. Company Check. A service charge of 1 1⁄2% per month will be added to all invoices over 30 days old. If legal action is used to collect monies due, the prevailing party shall be entitled to its collection and/or attorneys fees and costs. All monies collected if account has been turned over to a collection agency or attorney will be applied first to collection and/or attorney fees.
Any refused orders returned to MID-USA MOTORCYCLE PARTS for any reason, unless requested by MID-USA, will result in your company being liable for all freight costs incurred by MID-USA MOTORCYCLE PARTS, plus a 20% restocking/handling charge. These charges will be added to your next order or you may send in payment.
All returned checks require placing the dealer’s account on C.O.D. Certified Check/ Money Order for all future orders. There will be a $50.00 charge on each returned check. Placing a dealer’s account back on C.O.D. Company Check or Open Account terms will be done solely at the discretion of MID-USA MOTORCYCLE PARTS.
MANUFACTURER’S STATEMENT OF ORIGIN (MSO)
MSOs are mailed to all dealers on C.O.D. Certified Check/Money Order or C.O.D. Company Check 30 days after serialized part is purchased. For dealers on Open Account Terms, MSOs will be mailed after serialized part is shipped and payment is received.
HOURS OF BUSINESS
The Sales Order Desk is open to receive orders during the following hours: Monday through Thursday: 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM, and Friday: 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM. All times are in Central Time. Hours are subject to change if necessary. See information below for after hours ordering on-line.
Orders may be placed during our HOURS OF BUSINESS by telephone, or 24/7 by using our fax number, e-mail address, or online through our Dealer Website. In the interest of efficiency and proper handling of all orders, you should supply us with the following information whenever you place an order: dealer number, name of business, phone number, part numbers, descriptions of parts/accessories, and quantities desired. If you have any problem finding a particular part or accessory in our catalog, the MID-USA MOTORCYCLE PARTS sales staff will gladly assist you. We add new parts daily.
Items not in stock when ordered will be back ordered and marked in the back order column on your invoice. MID-USA MOTORCYCLE PARTS DOES NOT ship back ordered items automatically, but will notify you when they are available, After 30 days, if the item is still needed, you will need to reorder, as our files are automatically cleared.
Prompt service and accurate orders are a primary consideration. This is made easier with MID-USA MOTORCYCLE PARTS’ Shipment Confirmation System. You will be sent a fax or e-mail confirmation of your order as soon as it has been completed. This gives you the opportunity to check your order and call us if you see a problem. Shipment is normally made within 24 hours of order receipt. Shipments will be made through the most economical carrier. All items are carefully packaged and in good condition when shipped. We make every effort to ship the correct parts to our dealers. MID-USA MOTORCYCLE PARTS double checks each order when it is entered into our computer, by comparing the part number and the description you have given against the description in our computer. If there is any question, your Sales Representative will call, fax or e-mail you, to be sure that you receive the correct part. REMEMBER, FOR THIS SYSTEM TO WORK PROPERLY, YOU MUST GIVE US A DESCRIPTION WITH EACH PART NUMBER. We cannot accept the responsibility of shipping an incorrect part without a description. Therefore, it will be necessary to charge up to a 20% restocking fee on any parts returned as a wrong part, if no description was given.
Dealer’s orders will be shipped via UPS or FedEx Ground Service at MID-USA MOTORCYCLE PARTS’ discretion. We do not ship via bus lines or United States Postal Service.
WARRANTY AND LIABILITY LIMITATIONS
All merchandise distributed by MID-USA MOTORCYCLE PARTS is guaranteed in accordance with the manufacturer’s own warranty policy. Credit or replacement will be made at the manufacturer’s option. Repairs must be returned to the dealer. A decision from the following manufacturers must be obtained before credit or replacement can be issued.

Primary and Drive Belts do not carry a warranty. Therefore, they will not be accepted for credit or replacement.
-Chrome cannot be guaranteed after it is placed into service.
-Battery warranty is based upon a 6-month replacement policy. Batteries will only be covered for 6 full months from the dealer’s invoiced purchase date. No credit will be issued for a defective battery. All battery warranties will be on a replacement basis only.
MID-USA MOTORCYCLE PARTS WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY ELECTRICAL PARTS RETURNED FOR CREDIT THAT HAVE BEEN INSTALLED.
All implied warranties, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of fitness and merchantability, are limited in duration to a period ending 1 year from the date of purchase. MID-USA MOTORCYCLE PARTS has no control over the use or installation of any part; therefore, it is expected that the dealer and the dealer’s customer will exercise good judgment as to the proper selection, installation, use and maintenance of any parts and accessories. Under no circumstances will MID-USA MOTORCYCLE PARTS be responsible for incidental or consequential damages arising from, or in connection with, the installation or any use of any MID-USA MOTORCYCLE PARTS products. The manufacturers shall be solely responsible for any damage to a person or property arising from the design, manufacturing and testing of the manufacturers’ products. MID-USA MOTORCYCLE PARTS accepts no liability for such damages. MID-USA MOTORCYCLE PARTS WILL NOT WARRANTY ANY PRODUCT THAT HAS BEEN MODIFIED, OR HAS BECOME DEFECTIVE AS A RESULT OF IMPROPER USE, ABNORMAL OPERATION, ABUSE OR OTHER MISUSE. Warranties will be honored only with direct purchaser. Credit will not be issued for labor or consequential damages.
To the best of our knowledge, all photos and application information contained in the MID-USA En-Cycle-Pedia® catalog are accurate as of the date the catalog was approved for printing. Please check with your Sales Representative for verification of the most current applications.
All goods are checked for damage prior to shipping and are carefully packed. Title to the merchandise passes to the dealer upon delivery to the common carrier. Delivery of the merchandise in good condition is the responsibility of the carrier, and any damaged or open packages must be noted at the time of delivery. All claims for damaged or missing parts must be made within 24 hours of receipt. If you receive merchandise that was damaged while in transit, you must save the box that the merchandise was received in, in order to make a claim with the carrier. All orders are shipped with insurance added to the shipping cost. Damage claims must be made to the carrier that delivered the parts to you.
Returns shipped to MID-USA MOTORCYCLE PARTS will not be processed unless a Return Authorization (RA) number is issued from MID-USA MOTORCYCLE PARTS prior to returning. Return Authorizations are valid for 30 days from date of issue. Restocking charges may be applied according to the following schedule:
10% or $5.00, whichever is greater, for non-defective authorized returns.
20% or $5.00, whichever is greater, on any parts returned over 30 days from the purchase date.
50% or $5.00, whichever is greater, on any unauthorized returns; this includes unauthorized parts returned on an authorized RA.
MID-USA MOTORCYCLE PARTS will no longer accept returns on parts under $15.00. Re-boxing or re-labeling charges may also apply. No Returns On Special Order Parts Discontinued, closeout sale or obsolete items will not be accepted for return unless they are covered by warranty. MID-USA MOTORCYCLE PARTSwill not accept returns of any goods after 1 year from the date of purchase, with the exception of batteries that carry only a 6-month warranty. MID-USA MOTORCYCLE PARTS will not accept returns on parts of a kit for credit. The entire kit must be returned for credit to be issued.
Retail prices as shown in this price list are Suggested Retail Selling Prices only, to be used by our dealers as a quick guide for quoting retail prices to their customers. You must make the final determination on the prices you charge. Refer to part listing in this book for quantity discounts. MID-USA MOTORCYCLE PARTS has additional discount programs you can participate in. Contact your Sales Representative for more details.
Ground freight is PREPAID on shipments of $300.00 or more to dealer’s place of business only. All shipments to locations other than the Dealer’s place of business (drop shipments) will be charged applicable shipping charges. C.O.D. fees, insurance and other accessorial charges are not included in Prepaid Freight. This applies to orders shipped within the contiguous United States. Shipments less than $300.00 or shipments with special and/or discounted prices are shipped Freight Collect. No freight discount will be given that is greater than the actual freight cost. If back orders are added to a new order under $300.00, and this results in a combined total of parts shipped of $300.00 or more, freight is prepaid. Backorders from original orders that qualified for prepaid freight are added to a new order, and if the combined total is under $300.00, the order is shipped Freight Collect.

MID-USA MOTORCYCLE PARTS Dealer Incentive Program is based upon average monthly purchases between November 1 and October 31, our fiscal year. The purchases you made in the previous 12 months rolling average will establish your level for the next 12 months.
