• Offering engine builders the most common sizes needed when installing performance cams or rebuilding motors.
• Cam and pinion gears must be matched for pitch diameter to provide correct gear lash.  If the gear lash is too tight, the motor will whine; if the gear lash is too loose, the motor will knock.
• Most aftermarket cams come with red color coded gears.
• A cam of a certain color code usually should be used with a pinion gear of the same color code, but matching tolerance variations in the crankcase and the cam cover may reqquire the use of a larger or smaller pinion gear.
• Gears are measured over two .105" gauge pins.
• Made for Big Twin models with a tapered shaft.
• Made in the USA.
