AFM gaskets do not require any type of gasket sealer and re-torque is not required
The synthetic rubber compound will not absorb oil and will conform to uneven gasket surfaces such as chrome plated housings
The gasket's aluminum base material provides a stable platform for the synthetic rubber compound and prevents any unwanted extruding action common with paper type gaskets
