Synthetic rubber bonded to aluminum
Kits include all of the necessary gaskets, seals, O rings and lock tabs required when removing and replacing the inner primary cover for service work
The primary cover gasket and inspection cover gasket consists of an aluminum base sheet for rigidity, covered with a chemically blown compound of foam-like nitrile synthetic rubber on both sides
Synthetic rubber compound will not absorb oil and will conform to uneven gasket surfaces such as chrome plated housings
The gasket's aluminum base material provides a stable platform for the synthetic rubber compound and prevents any unwanted extruding action common with paper type gaskets
